The Lady Di design: a design that goes beyond fashion

 In Collection, Curiosities

The LADY DI design is known as the kind of ring inspired by the jewel that Prince Charles gave to Princess Diana as an engagement ring. A classic and timeless jewel that became a great fashion trend in the 80’s and remains so to this day.

Almost thirty years later we were able to see this precious ring in the hands of Kate Middleton. The ring, that now Kate Middleton wears in her left hand, consists of 14 solitaire diamonds surrounding a 12-carat oval blue Ceylon sapphire set in 18-karat white gold. Known as one of the most famous engagement rings in the world, designed by Garrad, the official jeweler of the British Crown and one of the oldest jewelry houses in the world.

Many jewelry houses have created replicas and rings inspired by this much desired engagement ring, following the same type of setting and using different types of precious and semi-precious stones surrounded by diamonds.

Here you can find some jewelry pieces that include not only rings, but also earrings, bracelets and pendants of a similar style following the same LADY DI design line, one of the most popular rings in the world.
